We are seeking experienced and motivated Groundworkers / Civil Engineering Operatives to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be involved in a variety of civil engineering and groundwork projects, working as part of a professional team delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction works. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in drainage, foundations, concrete works, roads, kerbing and general groundworks who are looking for long-term employment and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of groundworks and civil engineering works.
- Install drainage systems, manholes and ducting.
- Highways works.
- Prepare foundations and concrete works.
- Excavation and reinstatement works.
- Work safely around plant and machinery.
- Follow site drawings and instructions from Supervisors, Foremen, and Site Managers.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and health and safety.
- Assist with general site duties as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundworks and civil engineering.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
- CPCS/NPORS plant tickets advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering quality work.
