This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimator based in Ripon. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project requirements, liaising with clients, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers. Day-to-day tasks include assessing project needs, creating and reviewing cost estimates, preparing proposals and maintaining detailed documentation. The Estimator will also collaborate with the project team to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and math skills, as well as attention to detail
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of fencing, construction and land services materials and methods is an advantage
- Ability to work on-site in Ripon and collaborate effectively with a diverse team
- Experience in project budgeting or costing
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A valid driver’s licence is beneficial
