We are seeking a part time Calf Rearer to join our team due to another team member cutting down hours. The ideal candidate will play a role in the care and management of calves & calving cows ensuring their health and well-being from a young age.
Duties
- Provide daily care for calves, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
- Maintain clean and safe living environments for the calves, ensuring proper hygiene standards are upheld.
- General farming tasks such as bedding straw pens, lifting bags of feed and driving small machinery (training provided).
Previous experience in farming is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A good attitude towards learning new skills related to farming operations and working as part of a team is a must.
