Metcalfe Farms is a family run business currently in its third and fourth generations. The original small dairy farm started 80 years ago has expanded and diversified immensely over the years and is now involved in a number of successful businesses, encompassing heavy haulage, agricultural contracting, dairy farming, quarrying and driver training, all situated in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The Role
We have opportunities for C+E drivers to join our heavy haulage, automotive and bulk haulage teams. We operate a fleet of 100 vehicles. We specialise in the movement of abnormal loads, trucks, vans & 4x4's and bulk loads across the UK and Europe, providing transport for various blue-chip companies and the MOD. Full in-house training provided.
Requirements
- Hold a valid C+E driving Licence
- Hold a current Driver CPC card
- Hold a digital tachograph card
- Knowledge of driver hours regulations
- Experience in moving plant, machinery or bulk would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided
