We have opportunities for C+E drivers to join our heavy haulage, automotive and bulk haulage teams. We operate a fleet of 100 vehicles. We specialise in the movement of abnormal loads, trucks, vans & 4x4's and bulk loads across the UK and Europe, providing transport for various blue-chip companies and the MOD. Full inhouse training provided.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a respectful, positive attitude towards others and behave in an honest and open manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team and under their own initiative.
- Work safely, comply with health and safety legislation, and insist others do the same.
- Be practical and have basic mechanical understanding.
- Be able to plan routes.
- Be able to work away from home, including 4 to 5 nights out a week.
- Be able to work weekends when required.
- Experience using Microsoft and Outlook.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid C+E driving Licence.
- Hold a current Driver CPC card.
- Hold a digital tachograph card.
- Knowledge of driver hours regulations.
- Experience in moving plant, machinery or bulk would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided.
