About Metaview
Metaview is the anti‑toil company. We believe that toil—the friction that opposes progress—should be removed through Human‑Computer Symbiosis. AI copilots will fundamentally change how work gets done: more flow‑state, less guesswork, and human‑centricity over process‑centricity. Metaview is an AI copilot hub for hiring, powering workflows for thousands of users at companies such as Quora, Robinhood, Brex, Elastic, and Replit.
About the Role
At Metaview, a Product Engineer is a customer‑obsessed, product‑focused software engineer. As one of our first Product Engineers, you’ll lead the design, development, and operations of our products. You’ll wear many hats and have meaningful impact on a small, high‑velocity autonomous team. Back‑end bias: you’ll spend most of your coding cycles on the back‑end using Python, while also touching other stack components as needed. Clean, effective code and a passion for learning new languages/tools are essential.
- Stack:
- Python – back‑end application code
- TypeScript & React – front‑end application code
- Serverless framework – application infrastructure
- Terraform – infrastructure as code
- AWS – cloud infrastructure
About You
You’re fiercely ambitious and genuinely interested in doing great work. You love crafting software so much that calling it “work” feels strange. You deeply care about customer needs and the problems you can solve. You thrive on ambiguity in an early‑stage company. You enjoy shipping on Fridays and value high velocity.
Location
This role will be based in our London office. You must be willing to work in‑office at least three days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
