This is a full-time position located in Hatfield, Herts. The role offers a mix of hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote working once settled, with occasional travel to offices in West Sussex. The salary is up to £45,000 plus benefits.

You will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's IT systems by implementing and managing cybersecurity measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring robust application and network security. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring systems for vulnerabilities
  • Responding to incidents
  • Driving continuous improvement in information security practices
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to strengthen overall IT resilience

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Cybersecurity and Network Security, including managing threats and implementing security solutions
  • Proficiency in Information Security and Information Technology, with a focus on data protection and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of Application Security practices, including secure development and application vulnerability detection
  • Proven experience in SIEM, Anti-Virus, Vulnerability management, Data Loss Prevention and security tools
  • Good understanding of compliance around ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience in an IT security-focused role within an enterprise environment is preferred
