Fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Delivery Manager with a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and delivering concurrent IT projects covering infrastructure, cloud, applications, and security. IT Change experience would also be very beneficial with a number of key IT change projects planned by the client moving forward.
Working for a well established and growing pan-European business you will produce and maintain project documentation, Identify, and manage project dependencies, track and forecast project delivery resource requirements and manage project budgets.
You will have demonstrable leadership skills, able to manage projects, tasks, business requirements and lead teams and technical employees who do not directly report into you across multiple projects and delivery needs. Possess proven experience in delivering technical IT projects β infrastructure, cloud, networks, security or business applications. Have sufficient technical awareness to interrogate plans, estimates and risks credibly with technical teams, and to challenge constructively. Have experience of IT supplier and contract management and a working knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks.
A good level of intellect with strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to influence and drive delivery, being an effective leader to hold both internal teams and external suppliers to commitments and drive changes that the business requires are essential. A recognised project or delivery management qualification is highly desired as is experience owning or operating an IT change management or change enablement process, ideally ITIL aligned. ITIL Foundation or above.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in our client offices near Hatfield, Herts and 2 days remote with occasional travel elsewhere. A starting salary in the region of Β£50,000 plus competitive benefits are on offer to the right candidate.
