About This Role
Make a difference to the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
We have two full-time, salaried, fixed-term training opportunities for qualified counsellors to undertake postgraduate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) training at UCL while working as counsellors within our school-based Here4You team.
These positions form part of the NHS England-funded Children and Young People (CYP) Psychological Training Programmes, formerly known as CYP-IAPT.
Recruit to Train is a government-funded initiative designed to grow the children's mental health workforce and meet increasing demand for specialist mental health support. NHS England funds the salary and training costs, enabling trainees to develop their clinical skills while supporting children and young people.
This is a fully funded opportunity to apply learning from weekly teaching to practical clinical interventions, making a direct difference to children, young people and their families.
