Working with a sizeable UK business on a complex integration programme, we need a Senior Data Subject Matter Expert to take ownership of the data workstream from day one.

You will be the single point of accountability for everything data on a post-deal integration. This covers:

  • The strategy for bringing two estates together
  • The practical migration plan
  • The target architecture
  • Data quality and reconciliation
  • The reporting and MI that the programme leadership will rely on to make decisions

You will sit alongside the overall Programme Director and the Technology Integration Lead, run a small delivery team underneath you, and pull in cross-functional support from finance, operations, risk, and the existing data and engineering functions.

This is a workstream lead role, not a hands-on engineering seat.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record leading the data workstream on a post-merger integration, carve-out or major transformation
  • Strong grip on data migration, mapping and reconciliation across complex legacy environments
  • Confident on data governance, lineage and quality in a regulated environment
  • Financial services experience is welcome but not essential if the integration credentials are strong

Rate: circa £1250-£1400 per day

IR35: Inside

Location: London, hybrid

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 month initial contract
