Metalis are currently working with a manufacturing company based in Wakefield who are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Assembler / Toolmaker to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, maintain and repair tooling, dies, jigs and fixtures
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Operate workshop machinery including CNC, milling, grinding and drilling equipment
  • Ensure tooling meets quality and production requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and minimise production downtime

Requirements:

  • Previous Toolmaking or Mechanical Assembly experience
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of machining, tooling and manufacturing processes

Hours & Salary:

£16.00ph - £18.00ph (dependent on experience)

Days only, Monday - Friday

12 Week Temporary - Permanent
