Responsibilities
- Set, operate and program CNC milling machines
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Work to tight tolerances
- Provide technical support to team leader/supervisor
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Carry out self inspection on complex components
- Use a variety of measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, shadow graphs)
Qualifications
- Apprentice training or 5 years of experience
- Aerospace experience
- Engineering or Machining qualifications
- CNC programming experience
- Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Mazak
Salary & Shift
£18.66 per hour. Monday to Thursday, 6am – 2pm and Friday, 6am – 1pm.
