Key Responsibilities:
- Operating bandsaws to cut materials to specification
- Reading and interpreting cutting lists and engineering drawings
- Measuring and checking materials for accuracy
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience operating a bandsaw
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- FLT experience is advantageous but not essential
