Metalis is working in partnership with a specialist engineering company involved in the design and manufacture of bespoke components for a wide range of industries, both in the UK and Europe. We are actively recruiting for a Production Operative to join an expanding team in Rotherham.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working with raw materials throughout processing & production stages
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Working within a manufacturing cell
- Follow all appropriate procedures effectively and perform all appropriate tasks within set time scales and to set standards, SOP’s & test methods, process order QC instructions and other duties as defined by shift management
- Minimizing waste in labour, material and downtime
Person Specification:
- Experience working in manufacturing or engineering
- Experience operating production machinery
- Flexible to work afters until 11pm
Salary & Hours:
- Rotating shifts Mornings 6am – 2pm Afters 2pm - 11pm
- Overtime Available at Enhanced Rates
