Job Overview: Metalis is working with a family‑run engineering business in Rotherham, looking for a Materials Controller to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on stock control and materials handling
- Support the processing team when needed
- Carry out stock checks and update internal systems
- Operate a reach truck
- Pick materials for production jobs
- Load and unload materials
Approximately 80% of the role will involve stock control duties with the remaining time supporting processing operations.
Requirements:
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience using stock control systems
- Basic machine operation (saws, industrial machinery, etc.)
- Afternoon/night shift work may be required from time to time
Shift & Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday, 7am – 3pm, 8am – 4pm & Friday, 7am – 2:30pm
