We are currently recruiting for experienced Dispatch Operatives with valid FLT licences to support a number of well-established engineering companies throughout the Rotherham & Sheffield area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dispatch and warehouse experience who is looking for regular day shifts and ongoing work.
The Role
As a Dispatch Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. You will also be responsible for the safe movement of materials using a Forklift Truck.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles using an FLT
- Moving materials safely around the warehouse and production areas
- Checking goods in and out
- Maintaining stock accuracy and keeping work areas clean and organised
- Working to health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent preferred)
- Previous dispatch, warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
