Metalis are currently working with an Aerospace manufacturer, who are looking for an experienced CNC Turners to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Set and operate multiple CNC Lathes
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Work to tight tolerances
- Perform in-process inspection using measuring devices
- Complete and maintain records
- Use measuring equipment
- Responsible for making jigs, fixtures or other specialised non-production devices
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice Trained or 5 years' experience
- Aerospace experience
- Mazatrol and/or Fanuc control experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
Salary & Shift:
£16.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Rotating mornings and afternoons:
- Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm & Friday, 6am - 1pm
- Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 10pm & Friday, 1pm - 8pm
10% shift premium on afternoons
