CNC (VMC) Machinist in Sheffield

Job Role: CNC (VMC) Machinist Location: Sheffield Salary: £17.00 - £21.00 per hour + shift premium Metalis are working with a leading engineering company in Sheffield, who are looking for a CNC (VMC) Machinist to join their team. Job Duties: * Set and operate CNC vertical milling machines * Read and work from engineering drawings * Work to tight tolerances * Modify and optimise existing CNC programmes, tooling offsets and machine parameters * Carry out set ups for repeat parts * Run multiple machines * Maintain a safe and organised working environment by adhering to Health and Safety standards Job Requirements: * Apprentice Trained or relevant Engineering Qualifications (NVQ/HNC/HND/ONC) * Experience within a steel machining environment * Experience with CNC programs (running and modifying) Salary, Shift & Benefits: * £17.00 - £21.00 per hour + plus shift premium * Rotating shifts - Monday to Thursday, 6am - 3:30pm (35 hours) & Monday to Thursday, 6pm - 6am (35 hours) * 25 holidays + 8 bank holidays * Company pension scheme * Cycle to work scheme * PPE provided * Annual profit related bonus scheme * Overtime available (subject to demand) If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
