Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Metalis are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a Manual Miller to join their team.

Job Duties:

  • Set and operate manual milling machines
  • Read and work from engineering drawings
  • Support continuous improvement activities
  • Operating overhead crane and other various lifting equipment
  • General machine maintenance
  • Maintain jigs, fixtures, tooling etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained manual machinist
  • Strong understanding of conventional milling principles and techniques
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain controls and Butler Elgamill machines (desired)
  • Experience working within a heavy engineering environment
  • Overhead crane and FLT experience (desired)

Salary & Shift:

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:40pm & Friday, 8am - 1pm
