Job Role: TIG Welder Location: Sheffield Shift: Days, Monday to Friday. 07:30am until 16:00pm. Salary: Between £15 – £17ph dependant on experience. Metalis is working in partnership with a specialist Manufacturer in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled TIG Welder on a permanent basis. Job Duties: As part of a small and flexible workforce, the primary duties of the position involve TIG welding of stainless steel 304, 321, 310 grade, mild steel, and also some stick welding (AC). The position will also involve taking on different workshop tasks where workload requires, including some machining, spraying, etc. The company offers a range of projects, with batch quantities usually relatively low. The role will also include site work, both in the UK and overseas, installing and commissioning manufactured equipment on and around glass furnaces. This is often in a hot environment and involves manual lifting. Salary & Shift: Permanent Role Regular Days, Monday to Friday Between £15-£17ph salary Holiday entitlement: 21 days plus additional 3 days Christmas shutdown plus 8 days public holidays. Pension contributions (after 3 months): the company will match employee contributions to our scheme at 5%. Sick pay (after 3 months): Full pay for 2 months, half pay for 1 month.
