Pipe TIG Welders, Pipe Fitters & Platers - Full Time Opportunities

Location: Sheffield

On-site role - travel to site required.

We are currently working with a well-established manufacturing company that is looking to expand its on-site engineering team with experienced Pipe TIG Welders, Pipe Fitters, and Platers. These are full-time opportunities offering long-term work, excellent overtime availability, and competitive weekend rates.

  • Pipe Fitters
  • Platers / Fabricators

Duties & Responsibilities

Pipe TIG Welders

  • TIG welding stainless and carbon steel pipework
  • Working from engineering drawings and weld procedures
  • Completing high-quality coded welds to industry standards
  • Carrying out fabrication and installation work on site
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality requirements

Pipe Fitters

  • Installation and assembly of pipe systems and mechanical components
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and isometrics
  • Measuring, cutting, threading, and fitting pipework
  • Supporting site installation and maintenance projects
  • Working closely with welders and fabrication teams

Platers / Fabricators

  • Fabrication of steel components and structures
  • Marking out, cutting, shaping, and assembling metalwork
  • Working from fabrication drawings and specifications
  • Using workshop and on-site fabrication equipment safely
  • Ensuring work is completed to a high standard

Requirements

  • Previous experience within industrial, manufacturing, or site environments
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Relevant welding or fabrication qualifications advantageous
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
