Days - Regular
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company and are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Saw Operator on a temporary to permanent basis due to continued workload and demand.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position within a stable and growing business, with an immediate start available.
Job Duties:
- Operating a panel saw to cut a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, XPS insulation, and rockwool
- Accurately measuring, cutting, and preparing materials to specification
- Reading and working from engineering drawings (preferred but not essential)
- Ensuring all work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working effectively as part of a production team
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a panel saw (essential)
- Experience working with sheet materials such as plywood and MDF
- Basic understanding of measurements and cutting tolerances
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail and a positive work ethic
Shifts & Salary:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
- 40 hours per week
- £13.38 per hour
This position is available to start ASAP and offers the opportunity to move into a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
