Welder Fabricator – 15-17PH – Sheffield – Fulltime Days
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a busy team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings to produce high-quality work with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel components.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts from engineering drawings.
- Operate fabrication machinery including saws, presses, and grinders.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for production.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator in a workshop or production environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Competent in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
