Metalis are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing company in Sheffield, who are looking for a Machine Shop Operative to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Set and operate various CNC machinery
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Work with measuring and inspection equipment
- Ensure all tooling and machinery is maintained
- Work safely and make sure all products are machined to the correct instruction
- Ensure all documentation is filed correctly
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained or relevant engineering qualifications - Desired
- Experience working in a CNC environment
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Able to set and operate CNC machinery
Salary & Shift:
£28,275- £34,125 per annum
Days and afters rotating every 2 weeks (37.5 hours per week)
Days - Monday to Thursday 6am - 2:30pm & Friday 6am - 11:30am
Afters - Monday to Wednesday 2:15pm - 00:15am & Thursday 2:15pm - 11:45pm
