Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Metalis are currently working with a steel fabrication business, who are looking for an experienced Sales Estimator to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Review tender enquiries and project specifications
- Extract steelwork quantities from technical drawings
- Produce accurate, timely cost estimates and quotations
- Liaise with clients to clarify requirements and ensure optimal solutions
- Work closely with production and contracts teams to confirm pricing and lead times
- Maintain records of submitted bids and monitor outcomes
- Assist with follow-up discussions to convert quotations into confirmed contracts
Qualifications
- Estimation experience (preferably in structural/modular steelwork)
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Experience using STRUMIS software (desired)
Salary & Schedule
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5pm & Friday, 8am - 3:30pm
