Metalis Engineering Recruitment are working alongside an established metal supplier who are looking for a Process Operative to join the team. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Metal Processing - Testing and sorting incoming materials using a handheld XRF Scanner
- Sorting, packing and preparing materials for dispatch
- Identifying nickel & cobalt superalloy specifications
- Loading and unloading curtain sider trucks and shipping containers
- Working alongside the relevant supervisor to keep stock locations up to date
Shifts & Salary:
£28,000 - £31,000 Days regular, Monday - Friday Rotherham
The Ideal candidate:
- Previous experience working with Metal Processing
- Proficient use of an XRF Scanner (essential)
- FLT License - RTITB Accredited (Ideal)
- Shot blasting / hand blasting - plasma cutting experience (Ideal)
