Press Brake Setter/Operator Mansfield - NG20 14.00 - 19.00ph (Dependent on Experience) Morning Shift - 6:00am to 2:30pm

Metalis are currently working in partnership with a well-established manufacturing business and are looking to recruit an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator on a permanent basis due to continued growth and increased workload. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive manufacturing team, offering long-term stability, onsite parking, and the chance to work within a growing business.

Job Duties:

  • Setting and operating press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal to specification
  • Working from engineering drawings to produce accurate components
  • Fabricating sheet metal parts using hand tools and various tooling
  • Welding and grinding components where required
  • Performing measurements and calculations to ensure accuracy of bends and angles
  • Assembling fabricated parts into finished products
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets required standards
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience setting and operating press brake machinery - essential
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with sheet metal fabrication
  • Welding and grinding experience beneficial
  • Good mathematical ability for measurements and calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
