Metalis are currently working with an Aerospace manufacturer, who are looking for an experienced CNC Turning Technician to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Set, operate and program CNC lathes
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Work to tight tolerances
- Provide technical support to team leader/supervisor
- Continuous improvement activities
- Carry out self inspection on complex components
- Use a variety of measuring equipment (verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, shadow graphs)
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice training or 5 years' experience
- Aerospace experience
- Engineering/Machining qualifications
- CNC programming experience
- Experience with Mori Seiki, Mazak and/or Fanuc
Salary & Shift:
£18.66 per hour Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm & Friday, 6am - 1pm
