Metalis are currently working with a well-established engineering business, who are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive enquiries, estimate and convert orders
- Deal with quotations and hand over to Contract Manager
- Read technical tender drawings
- Liaise with customers and identify new business opportunities
- Negotiate and complete tenders to sales
- Follow up submissions with client feedback
- Set up and present handover meeting to the contracts team
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience working with structural, secondary and architectural steelwork
- Able to read technical/architectural drawings
- Excellent IT skills
