Metalis are currently working with a global engineering business, who are looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Set, operate and program CNC Lathes
- Read and work from engineering drawings
- Edit Fanuc G/M codes
- Carry out quality checks on machines parts and components
- Work on one-offs through to large production runs
- Machining a wide range of engineering plastics
- Working in a cell of 5 people supported by apprentices
Job Requirements:
- Apprentice trained
- Experience with Fanuc or Haas ISO programming
- Manual turning experience (desired)
Salary & Shift:
£36,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Monday to Thursday, 4pm - 2am (some flexibility is available)
Overtime available and paid at 1.5x
