Metal Work is an Italian company that specialises in the production of pneumatic components for automation systems. Established in 1967, Metal Work is now a global company with over 50 subsidiaries worldwide and employs more than 450 staff. Metal Work UK Ltd is the UK subsidiary of the Metal Work Group. Our responsibilities are to promote and distribute the complete range of Metal Work products throughout the UK and Ireland, designing and building simple and complex automation systems, and providing technical support to customers. Our business is based on relationships with customers, and we value customer focus, integrity, respect, continuous improvement, and trust.

About the Role

Working in a busy technical department with a small internal team of 3‑4 people within an overall team of around 12, you will deal with customer technical questions, assist the sales teams, cross‑reference information and respond to emails, and navigate company websites and software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn the features, benefits, options and applications for all catalogued products.
  • Undertake any special projects or tasks that may be required.
  • Represent Metal Work Pneumatic UK professionally to all customers.
  • Maintain good communication with all internal teams.
  • Follow company procedures.
  • Provide customers, both internal and external, with a high standard of customer service.

  • Good organisational, planning and analytical skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
