We are seeking an Estimating Manager who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects. The role works closely with pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to help secure new projects and support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions.
- Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Carry out site visits when required.
- Attend tender review and project handover meetings.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
- Provide support and guidance to other team members.
- Maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Complete any other duties required to support the business.
- Experience in a construction estimating role.
- Good understanding of construction costs and procurement.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
