The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 Β£ per year.

We are seeking an Estimating Manager who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects. The role works closely with pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to help secure new projects and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Prepare estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions.
  • Obtain and review supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Carry out site visits when required.
  • Attend tender review and project handover meetings.
  • Support value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure tenders are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members.
  • Maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Complete any other duties required to support the business.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a construction estimating role.
  • Good understanding of construction costs and procurement.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
