Role Overview
An established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor to oversee electrical compliance across commercial projects. The role focuses on ensuring electrical installations meet current regulations, managing inspection and testing, reviewing certification, conducting site audits, and providing technical support to engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Review and sign off electrical certification and inspection reports.
- Carry out site audits and quality inspections.
- Provide technical guidance to electrical engineers.
- Liaise with NICEIC representatives and support regulatory compliance.
Essential Qualifications & Certifications
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
- BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
- Valid ECS Card
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a Qualifying Supervisor or electrical compliance role.
- Minimum 2 years' experience carrying out EICRs.
- Excellent knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection/testing.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while supporting engineers and maintaining high compliance standards.
