As a Specialized Assessment Product Risk Program Manager (SA PRPM), you will be a critical driver in Meta's risk management and product integrity efforts. You'll sit at the intersection of product, legal, and regulations — triaging and supporting risk review for new products and features that require careful consideration of company policy, introduce novel or untested risk, or require specialized scrutiny.

Your work will shape how Meta assesses high-risk product decisions, often in fast-moving or ambiguous contexts. You'll help guide cross-functional partners through escalation workflows, support aligned decision-making, and ensure that the right voices are in the room to evaluate complex tradeoffs.

Responsibilities
  • Support and manage the triage and escalation process for product risks that are novel, ambiguous, or require policy interpretation and clarification.
  • Coordinate across Legal, Policy, Data Strategy, Engineering, and Product to ensure high-risk reviews are surfaced and addressed with the appropriate depth and speed.
  • Translate complex technical and product concepts into structured assessments and recommendations.
  • Facilitate decision-making through risk-based frameworks that support both product velocity and compliance.
  • Ensure escalations are documented, tracked, and resolved with transparency and consistency.
  • Identify gaps or breakdowns in current escalation/review processes and drive improvements in workflows, guidance, or tooling.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, product operations, trust & safety, privacy, compliance or in a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing projects with tight timelines and high ambiguity, involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in communication and cross-functional alignment skills — especially in navigating complex tradeoffs.
  • Familiarity with data flows, technical systems, and/or understand product risks and their applicable mitigations.
  • Track record of influencing decisions without formal authority.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in triaging or adjudicating product-level risks, ideally in a platform or infrastructure context.
  • Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Understanding of regulatory, reputational, or policy risks related to consumer-facing technology.
  • Experience with presenting risk perspectives to Executives and leading through ambiguity.
  • Experience working on privacy, content, legal, or compliance-related product issues.
