Meta is on a mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. To deliver on that mission responsibly, we need to earn and maintain the trust of everyone who uses our products - and that starts with how we handle their data.

The product risk org at Meta shapes how regulations will govern an entire industry for decades to come. We're building the frameworks, tooling, and culture that embed responsible data practices into every product decision across the company.

You'll operate at the intersection of product strategy, regulatory complexity, and engineering at scale. You'll own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces - driving clarity where there is none, influencing cross-functional partners across the organisation, and setting the standard for how Meta meets its obligations with increasing efficiency and craft. This is a role for someone who thrives on navigating complexity, brings strong product judgment to novel regulatory landscapes, and can translate external requirements into scalable product solutions.

  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years in Product Management Bachelor's degree (or relevant degree equivalent): STEM subject ideal but not essential (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences)
  • Experience leading cross-functional product teams through the full product lifecycle, from strategy and vision through execution and launch
  • Experience driving product strategy and roadmap development for large-scale or complex product areas with significant organizational dependencies
  • Experience using quantitative data and user research to make product decisions and influence stakeholders across functions and leadership levels
  • Experience contributing to organizational goals and aligning diverse teams around shared priorities in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
  • Experience in Risk, Trust, Compliance, or similar fields
  • Experience working across multiple product areas or platforms simultaneously, with a track record of creating cross-team alignment and shared strategy
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience mentoring other product managers and contributing to the growth and effectiveness of a product organization
  • Experience managing products at consumer scale, with demonstrated impact on key business or user metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
