Meta is looking to hire a Director, Content Business Development in the Global Partnerships & Content organization. This is a unique opportunity to lead cross-functional work on business development strategy; support product priorities for Facebook, Instagram and GenAI; and work closely with both the Partnerships and Product teams as well as Legal, Operations, Analytics and Policy to deliver results. This is a highly visible role that will partner with leaders across Meta. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a full suite of content deals and product strategy in a complex digital environment. They are a self-starter who is comfortable with rapid change and will take a proactive and strategic approach to business development, relationship management, and product strategy. They will have the ability to bridge short-term goals with long-term strategy to build durable and trusting partnerships. They will have experience working with partners around the globe and a track record of crafting “first of their kind” partnership opportunities with external partners.

Director, Content Business Development Responsibilities

  1. Set and drive product strategy and new business opportunities with key partners, including media companies, public figures, and third party agencies.
  2. Represent Meta in external meetings & negotiations with executives, both internally and externally.
  3. Maintain direct and active relationships with executives at partner companies, serving as an escalation point for various issues.
  4. Drive complex relationships to resolution through both internal and external communications.
  5. Manage cross-functional workstreams to identify and creatively resolve complex business, operational, and legal issues necessary to manage agreements.
  6. Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch products and partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 15+ years of working experience, including 10+ years in a partner-facing role.
  2. Experience crafting innovative product partnerships from scratch.
  3. Communication skills, including presentations.
  4. Product strategy experience and understanding of the mobile ecosystems.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. MBA or JD.
  2. Technical background with an understanding of product.
