  • Create and support advocacy campaigns designed to advance policy goals and the company’s position across the region.
  • Manage reactive press issues, working closely with country communication leads and Public Policy teams across EMEA to tackle issues and mitigate risk.
  • Provide communications counsel and support for business leaders on high-profile topics.
  • Build a meaningful understanding of Meta’s products, policies and approach and distil this work into plain language for media and the general public through a wide range of material like blog posts, social copy, Q&As, briefing materials and talking points.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in corporate/policy communications for consumer facing brands, or in relevant Government communications departments.
  • Experience in managing high-profile and fast-moving crises and issues, building relationships with media, and working with executives.
  • Significant experience in devising and coordinating advocacy campaigns designed to change policy positions via the media.

  • Experienced collaborator, well-versed in influencing others, and adept at bringing larger groups along to execute complex cross-team projects.
  • Adept at using AI in day-to-day work.
  • Proven capability to balance multiple competing priorities, with flexibility to pivot/re-prioritise quickly as needs arise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing agencies and putting in place scalable processes to drive and measure results.
  • Established relationships and contacts with Brussels reporters.
  • Extensive experience in Policy Communications for a highly scrutinised tech company.
