We are looking for a reliable FLT Driver to join a small warehouse team for a 2-month temporary role. The successful applicant will train throughout May before covering a warehouse operative’s duties during June.
Training (May 2026)
- Start date: Tuesday 5th May 2026
- Hours: Mon–Thu, 8:30am–4pm
- Shadowing and learning all warehouse tasks
- Holiday shutdown: 21st May–31st May
Full Cover (June 2026)
- Hours: Mon–Thu, 8am–4pm
- Daily FLT operation (gas forklift)
- Liaising with customers/suppliers
- Unloading goods, booking in deliveries
- Banding, wrapping and palletising orders
- Responsible for opening/closing site gates – punctuality essential
- £13.50 per hour
Requirements
- Valid, in-date FLT licence
- Previous warehouse experience
- Physically fit; general lifting required
- Able to read labels clearly and communicate information accurately
- Fluent in English
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Willing to help keep the premises tidy (inside and outside)
