MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking FLT Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established company based in West Bromwich.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general yard duties, operating a forklift truck and ensuring the yard remains safe, clean and organised.
We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a forklift truck (FLT) safely and efficiently within the yard.
Previous experience with a clamp & rotate truck would be a bonus
Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or waste management environment.
Loading and unloading vehicles and managing stock/materials.
General yard duties, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, organized working environment.
Assisting the team with day-to-day site and operational tasks as required.
Temp to perm role for the right candidate after 12 weeks
Hours
6am to 3pm and 9am to 6pm rotating weekly. Friday 1:30pm finishes.
Pay
£12.85 per hour rising to £13 once trained
