MET Recruitment are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join a busy and well-established company in Halesowen.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery within a production environment, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
We are looking for someone with a good eye for detail, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently to meet daily targets.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing/production role.
- A strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual approach.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
- Monitoring equipment performance and conducting routine quality checks on finished products.
- Troubleshooting minor issues and working closely with the team to minimize downtime.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing/production role.
- A strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual approach.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
Hours
- 3:30pm to 1:30am Monday to Thursday. Will train on days for a couple of weeks before moving to a PM shift.
Pay
- £13.50 rising to £14 after training
