IT Technician / IT Support £30,000 – £35,000 per annum equivalent Temporary – 1 to 3 months On-site We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Technician / IT Support professional to join an established business on a temporary basis for an initial 1–3 month assignment. Working as part of the internal IT function, this is a hands-on role supporting users across the business with a broad range of hardware, software, systems and infrastructure queries. A key part of the position will be setting up new starters, ensuring their equipment, email accounts, user access and relevant systems are ready for them to hit the ground running. Key responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day IT support to users via the internal helpdesk. Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and business systems issues. Setting up new starters, including PCs/laptops, email, user accounts and system access. Installing and configuring hardware and software. Supporting users with the company's ERP system and completing routine ERP-related tasks. Assisting with the maintenance of network infrastructure. Troubleshooting connectivity and general IT infrastructure issues. Providing technical support to external entities where required. Managing queries through to resolution and escalating where appropriate. What we're looking for: You will need previous experience within a hands-on IT support, IT Technician, Desktop Support or 1st/2nd Line Support position and be comfortable dealing with a broad range of day-to-day technical queries. Experience of setting up IT equipment and system access for new starters is particularly important. Previous experience of Epicor would be highly advantageous and candidates with hands-on Epicor experience will be of particular interest. This is an on-site temporary position, so you will need to be available to start at relatively short notice and commit to an assignment expected to last between 1 and 3 months
