We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team.
The successful candidate will have extensive warehouse experience, a current forklift truck licence, and the confidence to work independently while providing a friendly and professional service to our customers and suppliers.

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm Pay: £13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Operating a gas bottle forklift truck safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading rolls of fabric from lorries and containers.
Using pallet trucks and palletising goods.
Banding and securing pallets.
Picking and managing your own orders, taking full responsibility for accuracy.
Counting, booking in and checking orders.
Reading labels clearly and communicating order details to other members of staff.
Completing delivery notes and other warehouse paperwork accurately.
Liaising with customers, suppliers and delivery drivers on a daily basis.
Following instructions clearly and working efficiently to meet deadlines.
About You
The ideal candidate will
Hold a current, valid forklift truck licence.
Have extensive previous warehouse experience.
Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading.
Have good basic maths and numerical skills.
Have fluent spoken English and be able to clearly understand and communicate instructions.
Have clear, legible handwriting for completing paperwork.
Have excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Have a pleasant, professional manner when dealing with customers and suppliers.
Be reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
Have their own transport due to the location/hours of the role.
Ideally have a stable employment history and demonstrate commitment to previous roles.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have recently completed a previous role and are looking for a long-term position.
The role includes a morning break, half-hour lunch break and afternoon break.
