We are recruiting GENERAL OPERATIVES for our client based in Swadlincote, DE11. This is working for a long-established manufacturing business that produces items for the construction industry. The company has been manufacturing since 1989 and operates from modern production facilities serving customers across the UK and Ireland. This company is going from strength to strength and is a fantastic place to grow a career!

Shifts are permanent afternoons Monday - Thursday 2pm - 10.30PM and Friday 2PM - 8PM. Rate of Pay £13.10ph - overtime opportunities available! Temp - Perm Opportunities after 13 weeks for the right candidates!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating manufacturing machinery and production equipment - including press machines and industrial guillotine working across a number of departments.
  • Loading and unloading materials safely.
  • Assisting with fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes.
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Following all health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting team members to achieve production targets.
