Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships, winning new business and driving regional growth? We are recruiting for a Regional Business Manager to take ownership of an established territory covering Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and selected European markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing business within the construction and building services sector. This is a home-based role and applicants must currently reside in Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for managing your territory remotely, supported by regular customer visits and business travel throughout the region.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in developing market presence, strengthening customer relationships and identifying new opportunities across your region. Working with distributors, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders, you will drive sales growth through a combination of account management, business development and project engagement activities. This is a highly autonomous role offering the opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing and well-established organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional business development strategy
- Drive sales performance and deliver against agreed targets and objectives
- Grow existing customer accounts whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, contractors, consultants and end users
- Increase project engagement and specification activity across the territory
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, presentations and product demonstrations
- Deliver product training and CPD presentations where required
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
- Produce accurate forecasts, reports and market intelligence
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
About You
- Previous experience in field sales, business development or account management
- Experience within the construction supply chain, building products
