As a Quality Inspector you will be based on the shop floor ensuring that all materials and products meet strict quality standards. This role suits someone with a strong eye for detail, confidence using measuring tools, and a proactive approach to maintaining high manufacturing standards. Must have quality inspection experience!
Key Responsibilities
- Raw material inspection: Checking incoming materials before production begins.
- Dimensional verification: Using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment to confirm accuracy.
- Visual and functional checks: Ensuring parts meet required standards throughout production.
- Inspection reporting: Completing clear, accurate documentation.
- Non conformance recording: Logging NCRs and supporting corrective actions.
- Quality record maintenance: Keeping traceability and quality documentation up to date.
Working Hours
Mon - Thurs: 7:00am - 4:00pm
Fri: 6:00am - 3:00pm
20 minute paid break
30 minute unpaid lunch
Salary
£14.00 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
