A growing manufacturing and engineering business is seeking a Project Engineer to support ongoing transformation and process improvement projects across its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to gain further exposure to project delivery, process engineering, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering and transformation projects from concept through to commissioning
  • Update and maintain P&IDs and engineering documentation
  • Prepare technical specifications, equipment schedules and scopes of work
  • Coordinate with suppliers and contractors during installations and modifications
  • Support procurement, technical evaluations and project tracking
  • Participate in risk assessments and safety reviews
  • Assist with equipment installation, testing and handover
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering (or similar)
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or process environments preferred
  • Understanding of mechanical/process equipment including pumps, valves and pipework
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Positive, hands-on and proactive approach
