Are you an organised and proactive individual looking to build a long-term career within a successful manufacturing business? Our client, a leading manufacturer and part of a well-established international group, is looking to recruit a Project & Contracts Co-ordinator to join their growing team in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service or project co-ordination experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their technical knowledge. Full training will be provided.
The Role
Working closely with customers and internal departments, you will support projects from initial approval through to manufacture and delivery, ensuring all documentation, communication and project milestones are managed efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and checking technical drawings and project information
- Liaising with customers to obtain approvals and answer queries
- Preparing production documentation and manufacturing packs
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring key deadlines are met
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintaining regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting logistics and delivery arrangements where required
- Ensuring all project records and documentation are accurate and up to date
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience with technical drawings particularly Auto Cad drawings
- Previous administration, project co-ordination, contracts support or customer service experience
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction products or HVAC environments would be advantageous but is not essential
