Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Administrator / Customer Service Adviser to join their busy and growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and administration functions, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and excellent communication with customers.
Role Requirements- Previous experience in a busy, fast‑paced environment
- Strong background in administration and customer service
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport effectively
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
- Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to maintain and develop relationships
- Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Raise and issue invoices using Xero software
- Provide proactive customer support to ensure expectations are consistently met
- Deliver an exceptional customer journey through a professional and positive approach
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch of customer orders
