We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience using Mazatrol-controlled turning machines who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Setting and operating CNC turning machines using Mazatrol controls
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Carrying out basic machine checks and minor adjustments
- Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment
- Proven experience operating CNC turning machines
- Strong working knowledge of Mazatrol programming and operation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience in a production or subcontract machining environment preferred
- 10–15 hours per week
- Some flexibility on days/hours for the right candidate
- Competitive hourly rate between £15.50 - £17.00 (dependent on experience)
